Abstract

Objective: to test the safety and health nexus in the labor rights of women workers in the Peruvian Public Sector. Theoretical framework: Based on human capital theories, resource-based view of the company, and labor rights theory, focusing on the physical, mental and social well-being of women workers in the Peruvian public sector. Methodology: Non-experimental, descriptive and correlational study, using mixed quantitative and qualitative methods. It includes a 32-item survey and structured interviews with workers and labor law experts. Results: Positive correlation between occupational safety and health with labor rights and paid breaks. Occupational psychology shows a strong correlation with all variables, while occupational medicine shows no significant correlations. Conclusions: The study showed the vital role of legal compliance, work psychology, and comprehensive safety measures in improving occupational health and worker well-being. Further investigation into psychosocial factors and sector-specific risks is needed to refine safety practices.
